Most people insist a leopard never loses its spots.

But it’s really just a matter of perspective. After all, a leopard himself probably doesn’t even realize he has spots unless he allows himself to see what he never could before.

I get it though.

If I’m of the world [1], I see everything through a worldly lens. Any character flaw adjustments I might witness never include “…taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” [2Cor. 10:3-5] I watch my neighbor jump in desperation from one foolish solution to the next with no results or consequences.

And the spots are still there.

Ironically, though, I’m actually the only one who can get rid of my spots. I just have to believe that there’s only One Who holds the power to remove those spots standing before me.

Could it be that we’re seeing a lot of spots that don’t get cleaned off enough [2]?

Because they grow back.
